@administrators - maybe the thread should be split as it seems that this thread was originally to vote on the "Ride of the Month"? Sorry for derailing the thread with my musings on Fat Fork covers. It is technically impossible to derail any thread that appears in this Forum Lagger. For that to be the case, one would have to assume that any thread contained herein was actually ON the rails to start with. Carry on! Good to know that I'm not alone being off the rails ;-)

Tubing arrived today, I also received the 2mm set screws I'm going to use. Next step is to carefully check the measurements and cut the tubing into the necessary lengths. Once cut, I need to drill and tap the holes for the set screws then send the tubing to be ceramic coated to match the rest of the bits I've had done (cerakote satin black, it has a fantastic finish). Tubing cost was £13, set screws £1 and the ceramic coating will cost a total of £40 meaning I get fat forks for a total of £54 - that's a bloody good deal. (My time is of course free!)
