Here's a quick question - can someone please tell me the manufacturer and ideally part number for the air filter element as used in Paul's BAB filter kit? Is it a K&N element?
I don't have one of these kits but I have some ideas to make up a kit for my own bike - I'm not making a BAB rip-off, my idea is for something a little different but I'm looking for an element around that style used in the BAB kit. I thought I'd be able to get that info easily off the web but I'm struggling to find anything helpful.
Thanks for your help guys.

The filter in Pauls kit is a K&N but I'm not sure of size, I think its 6". I can measure mine tonight when I get home. Texas probably has one at home in his mean streak parts dept lol.

Nope, I only have the Chuckster which I got from you. You're right, the BAB uses a 6" X 2" K&N. You might want to check the part number to make sure I have it right. Bad Ace Billet intake used a 6" diameter X 2" high K&N filter... Part #E-3224 Outside Diameter: 6 in (152 mm) 6"OD,4-5/8"ID,2-1/16"H;S&S FIL www.knfilters.com/search/univ2.aspx?id=S0001Chuckster intake used a 7" diameter K&N filter... E-3402 Part #E-3402 Outside Diameter: 7 in (178 mm) 7"OD,5-1/2"ID,2"H www.knfilters.com/search/univ2.aspx?id=S0001

I remembered you bought my chuckster but I was thinking your son might have one of Pauls intakes. I'll check that number tonight to verify.

That's great info, thanks guys, the nearest I'd found before asking here was E3227 (I think and I think it's for HD) Cheers!

I remembered you bought my chuckster but I was thinking your son might have one of Pauls intakes. I'll check that number tonight to verify. That would help, the filter number I referenced has a smaller inside dimension than what I thought it should be but it was all I saw that was listed for a 6" X 2" tall filter. Just as a sidenote: My son has a Chuckster too that came off of Vinny's 2004 when he changed out to the BAB intake. We both like to still run the black OEM intake covers...

Texas, that is one seriously clean looking bike, very nice That 'is' a seriously clean bike but it isn't mine or my son's, the picture shown was just a quick pic grabbed off the web to show an example of the black OEM intake cover. Our bikes are covered up and in time out right now. Riding season is a bit different for us in south Texas because of the sizzling sweltering summertime heat, so our riding season is almost the opposite of most riders. We stop riding in the sweltering summer heat but get to ride the rest of the year because our winters are usually very mild.

Sorry about late response, the filter has 2 different numbers on it, 1 on each side. A060A6 and A060B6 and the filter is 6 x 2
