Since my back surgery won't let me lift 10lbs I needed to find someone to help with unloading the bike off the trailer. Through a friend of a friend a person volunteered to help since he stated he was a rider and would be fine helping out. Turned out he bought a 250 a month ago, hasn't done the MSF yet, and has ridden it 2 or 3 times. Gets it off the trailer and immediately drops it while giving it gas so it spins on pavement. WTF. Thank god I have engine guards so it will cost me $60 in powdercoating instead of a new tank. There's some deep gouges from gassing it so I may need to prime and sand prior to topcoat, so maybe $100? I don't think too much else was damaged but what the hell man. If you say you can ride I didn't mean a damn bicycle. I'm grateful he came to help a stranger and all but fuck I was pissed. I'm so over these moves and getting our stuff trashed every 1-2 years. The truck at least worked great. Towed it at max capacity with zero issues. I really need to shoot some of this ammo to get my weight down.

I feel your pain, my record was five moves in one year, lucky for me back then I didn't have much stuff but it was still a pita. Hope the bike isn't too damaged.

Never did that many in 1 year but I think this was #8 in 13 years, tough to keep track anymore. I never moved out of places when I deployed because I was lazy. A man just wants to get home and get piss drunk off 2 beers in the comfort of his own place. Ha.

Damn Streak, that really does suck. Did Bicycle Boy offer to cover any of the damage? (I think we know the answer to that one).

Nope, magically disappeared immediately thereafter.
