here is a couple dyno runs. No sheet because there was issues with the operators setup on dyno software. The first is a run at the Dayton dyno mfg shop. he ran over 15 runs back to back, this was the last two pulls. I had ignition issues on the way over and was using 420 cc injectors, bad tune. Had to let it sit for about 45 min before putting it on the dyno. I was also experimenting with oils at the time. Had a straight 30 wt in her, not good, every lifter was collapsed when I got to the shop. 89hp 95tq. bad run.

this was 300 miles on engine after last build. dynatech ignition, run in parallel with ecu firing injectors. was told by dyntech it would not run lol. Keep in mind this is all experimental on my part, see what works what does not. The ecu did not have an issue with the big injectors, I tried two other sets one set for the zx10r, the others were the same but different years. ecu did not like those. this was a bad set of pulls. he let it sit there and heat up to 260 deg water temp. 116 hp 123 tq no baffles in on any run. never ran baffles in these pipes 5th gear pull, started pull from idle of around 1100 rpm I have had bad luck with the dyno places around here , good dudes but this one and the second one had the software set wrong.

The stock pipes are real good, many are a downgrade. Muzzy 2-1 is the best performing pipe hands down but is impossible to find unless you score a used one. Get something with a crossover chamber if you want power and not just noise but it really won't add power. An air intake will give you the most power and be very noticeable.

Been looking at air intake in left side..i think I could just get a stock 8 or 9" airfilter put a stud extension on and bold it in with a 1" open area around cover..think that would do and install power comander 3 to adj for addl. Air intake?

You need a real air intake not just a drop in filter. The crossover tube is the major restriction. A bigger filter on the left side will not fix or remove that limitation and you won't see any benefit.I used a thunder intake backing plate and then put the stock cover over it to maintain a stock look but have real airflow. That's the only way to do it if you're trying to retain a stock look but add power.
