Did these fat fork tube cover length measurements you gave over on RF turn out to be correct for the 8 degree triple tree? Of course I'm more concerned about the top cover measurement not being too long as to interfere with being able to torque the stem bolt down adequately. Quote is from post #62 www.riderforums.com/general-mean-streak/79315-bad-ace-billet-news-update-5.htmlFor those interested the measurement for the covers for the stock OEM trees are in post #68...

And anyone else with 8 degree trees, feel free to take a measurement between the upper and lower plates.

Texas, Mine is still apart but will measure the fat fork tubes them selves to give you the measurements. I am not sure on the size for stock trees though. That'll work, thanks! No rush at all, just whenever it's convenient for ya. I quoted the size given by Paul for the stockers above...that's the set I have. So I will have to cut part of the upper tube off some to make it work with the 8 degree trees. The lower tube, going by your quoted measurement will be short by almost a half inch, so I will fill that gap/space with the wraparound LED turn signals.

Hear is what I would do on the bottom if your are too short. I just don't see how the tubes for stock trees are ad short as it says. Hell the 8 degree trees are thicker than the stock trees. But anyway I would relocate the stock turns to be under tree instead of on top of bottom tree
