Have only had the bike out twice so far in 2017. Why so late you may ask? THIS is why! From the National Weather Service's Twitter: NWS Seattle Verified account @nwsseattle Apr 24 Seattle is now at 44.67 in. of rain since Oct 1st - wettest Oct-Apr on record since record keeping began 122 years ago. Quillayute, Wa. is approaching 10 FEET of rain since October. Since Oct 1st, Quillayute, WA has received over 116 inches of rain. It would take roughly 40 years for Yuma, Arizona to receive that amount. #wawx I can't take much more of this

Holy crap that's a lot of rain! Save some for us, we've set records I think also, but it'll probably be another 10 years before we see decent rains again.

I'm So. Cal, Antelope Valley. It's high desert here, our "record-setting" rain this year was a little over 5". El Centro is down in the San Diego area, I go down there every couple of months or so and ride with some friends.

Just went for a nice ride today through some canyons out to Malibu for lunch. It was a beautiful day to sit by the beach and have some fish 'n chips.

Yeah, the political environment here amazes me. Must be something about the coasts and the dense (in more ways than one) population.
