O-K, so I changed my oil/filter here the other day. No big deal, right? Well, today I poured out the used oil from the pan and this little "thing" plopped out. I have no idea if this came off the Meanie or was some random bit that accidentally fell into the oil pan. Anyone have any idea what this is?

Looks like one of the exhaust mounting rubbers but hard to tell scale from your photo. How big is it? About an inch diameter?

Where does it go? Or would this have been left over from taking the bladder out when the pipes went on? I'm assuming it's likely not needed now? Thanks Guys. PS: I was NOT meant to be a Mechanic!!!!!!! It took me an hour to get the front fender off, a task that should have taken 10 minutes, if that.

They fit inside the tubular mounting points on the frame for the exhaust - two per tube. If your exhaust is fitted correctly I would guess that this one you found had likely been dropped at some point and was perhaps hanging around stuck on the frame somewhere - unless you've been removing the exhaust and missed it? I didn't try to fit it back in and nothing seems awry down there so I guess it's not needed now that the V&H pipes are on there? At least I hope so!
