Yep, nice to be back. Only been a couple of months or so, but feels like forever.
Changed the oil and filter yesterday, oil looked good. Not even black, more a dark caramel. As expected it had a bunch of crud in the oil screen, and I wonder if it had ever actually been changed. The Kawi OEM filter was stuck on there like you wouldn't believe. Whatever happened to "hand-tighten"?

Yeah, the seller said it has 300 miles on the tires, and I can believe it. Still going to change the coolant, not to urgent I'm sure but just because. The vent hose is stuck on the tank so I need to work it free without tearing it, just didn't feel like bothering yesterday. Also changed the final drive oil, but it looked good also. I'll have to get used to the crash bar & pegs, but I think I'll remove it except for long rides. I can definitely see it interfering with my lane-splitting
